How to Enable or Disable Cookies in Google Chrome?

They are designed to hold a small amount of data specific to a particular client and website, and can be accessed either by the web server or the client computer. This allows the server to present a page customized according to a particular user, or the page itself can contain some script which is aware of the data in the cookie.

If you are facing an issue to visit a web page that means it not able to customize the webpage according to your language and other preferences set on your computer. This can be fixed after enabling cookies and here is how you can enable them.

1. On your browser toolbar click on three dots given on the top right.


2. You will see settings and options of google chrome. Next you need to click on “show advanced settings”


3. You will find privacy section next you have to select content settings.


4. This will open an another window from which you need to select. “Allow local data to be set (Recommended)” and click Done


Now cookies are enabled and you will able to get into the website which you were trying to browse.

To disable cookies.

If any point of time from security reasons or any other reasons if feel that you should disable cookies, you can do it by going to content settings (Step 4) and selecting “Block sites from setting any data” and click Done.
